Choupo Moting joins the footballers' strike of not participating in the CAN 2017. See Why!

It is no surprise that Cameroon footballers are declining offers by the national team to be a part of the 2017 CAN. "Enough is Enough" is the perfect phrase that describes the feelings of these players. After seven refuse the call, Maxime Choupo Moting just joined the league.
He says he prefers to stay back in his host country and represent his team than come play for Cameroon where his position as assistant captain has been reduced to nothing by the coach Hugo Broos. More over he had frictions untold with the coach. He only wishes to come back to Cameroon to play after the CAN on condition that there is a improvement in human and technical relations and management.
As for the fate of Cameroon during this year's CAN, most see it as already decided, "Cameroon will be eliminated before they even arrive" said Kingsley in a hilarious way.
